This project is my Pandemic baby. Birthed during times of uncertainty, there was a lot of emphasis being placed on loving on your people and appreciating life. I wanted to highlight the significance of that starting with the fit of the Scrunch Tee. It was reconstructed to cling to your body reminiscent of a hug...something so simple, yet underrated. Next, was the La Flor Tee constructed with textured sleeves and adorned with roses to symbolize the importance of giving people their flowers. The meaning is all in the details.
I wanted pieces that were unique and elevated enough for a forward thinker’s closet. Something not just expressive, but transformative, innovative and creative. Aside from crafting something that was just visually fascinating to look at, I wanted to create something meaningful. I complimented each piece by adding small, but intricate details so it'd be clear in the intention behind what I wanted to relay through each design.
